open source in the end of 2008

recently some open source released, Google native client.
reviewed , source in C and compile use MSVC8, see such in mozilla too. using C, it just like linux, same unreadable for me. so less can be learned from this oss project.
it make me realize i cannot read ANY source thought they are called source and i am a talented programmer. these days, i am forced to use JSF to make java web systems, even make me a still hurt. because i can make any good enough website for years but really hate the thinking of JSF.
and , noticed several 3D open framework(valve source? Blender) is shown and freelance can try to make some 3D games? 3d applications? and GPU (OpenCL API) is seems to grow to more powerful for general using.
